Indications
Candesartan is primarily indicated in conditions like hypertension, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in diabetic nephropathy, heart failure.
Contraindications
Candesartan is contraindicated in conditions like cholestasis, pregnancy, breast feeding.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects are more or less tolerate and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically these include headache, nausea, myalgia, abdominal pain, rashes, respiratory tract infections, back pain.
Dose 8mg and 16mg
