Indications
Mecobalamin is primarily indicated in conditions like congenital cobalamine malabsorption, congenital intrinsic factor deficiency, homocystenemia, methylmalonylacidurias, peripheral neuropathy, pernicious anaemia, post gastrectomy vit b 12 deficiency, transcobalamin II deficiency.
Contraindication
Mecobalmin is contraindicated in conditions like hypersensitivity to any component of product.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of mecobalamin are hot sensation, allergic hypersensitivity reactions, nausea, vomiting, skin rashes.
Available as 500mcg tablets
