Telmisartan + Hyprochlorothiazide
Indications
Telmisartan is primarily indicated in conditions like hypertension, and can also be given in adjuctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in diabetic nephropathy, heart failure.
Hydrochlorothiazide is primarily indicated in condition like diabetes insipidus, edema, hypercalciuria, hypertension, nephrolithiasis, nephrotic syndrome, oedema, proximal renal.
Contraindications
Cotasmi is contraindicated in conditions like diabetes mellitus, gout, renal disease, anuria, hyperlipidemia, liver diseases
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects are hyperglycemia, dry mouth parasthesia, allergic reactions, cardiac arrhytmias.
Dose 40/12.5 and 80/12.5
