Indications
Amikacin is primarily indicated in conditions like burns, cholangitis, endometritis, heart failure, infections in neutropenic patients, meningitis, mycobacterial infections, neonatal infections, peritonitis, respiratory tract infections, supraventricular arrhythmias, urinary tract infections.
Contraindications
Amikacin is contraindicated in conditions like hypersensitivity.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of Amikacin are sense of fulness in ears, ototoxicity, azotemia, ataxia.
Available as 25mg 50mg 100mg 250mg and 500mg
