Montelukast Sodium
Indications
Montelukast sodium is primarily indicated in conditions like Asthma, prophylaxis of asthma, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in allergic rhinitis.
Contraindications
Montelukast is contraindicated in conditions like hypersensitivity to the drug and its components.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of montelukast are Anxiousness. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by montelukast are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically.
Dose 4mg 5mg and 10mg and sachets are 4mg only
