Fluconazole
Indications
Fluconazole is primarily indicated in conditions like adjunctive therapy with out valproate, candidiasis, fungal infections, neurogenic bladder, vaginal infections and can also be given as an alternative drug of choice in bone marrow transplantation, cryptococcal infections, urinary tract infections.
Contraindications
Fungone is primarily contraindicated in conditions like hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of fluconazole are headache, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, leucopenia.
Available as 150mg
Dosage once weakly or as directed by the doctor.
