Esomeprazole
Indications
Esomeprazole is primarily indicated in conditions like Gastric ulcer, gastro esophageal reflux disease, NSAID associated ulceration, zollinger ellision syndrome, and can also be given as an alternative drug of choice in pernicious anaemia and other macrocytic anaemias.
Contraindications
Esomeprazole is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of Esomeprazole are live damage, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, dizziness, subacute myopathy, athralgia.
