Indications
Linezolid is primarily indicated in conditions like pneumonia, respiratory tract infections, severe or recurrent duodenal and gastric ulceration, skin infections.
Contraindications
Linezolid is contraindicated in conditions like breast feeding.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of linezolid are tongue discoloration, neuropathy, dry mouth, dizziness, insomnia, tinnitus, fever, diarrhea, headache.
Available as 400mg and 600mg tablets/ 200mg 400mg and 600mg infusions
