Indications
Amlodipine besilate is primarily indicated in conditions like angina, pectoris, essential hypertension, hypertension, prophylaxis of angina, vasospastic angina.
Contraindications
Amlodipine is contraindicated in conditions like sinoatrial node disease, hypersensitivity to the drug, aortic stenosis.
Side effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of amlodipine are vomiting, constipation, wheezing, flushing, syncope, abdominal pain, dysthesia.
Available as 2.5mg 5mg and 10mg
