Formulation
Candesartan + Hydrochlorothiazide
Indications
Candesartan is primarily indicated in conditions like hypertention, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in diabetic nephropathy, heart failure.
Hydrochlorothiazide is primarily indicated in conditions like diabetes insipidus, nephrolithiasis, nephrotic syndrome, oedema, hypertension, proximal renal tubular acidosis, and can also be given as an alternative drug of choice in exercise induced hyperkalemia, osteoporosis.
Contraindications
Canrec Plus is contraindicated in conditions like cholestasis, prognancy, breast feeding.
Side Effects 
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by candesartan are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include headache, nausea, myalgia, adbominal pain, rashes, arthralgia, influenza like syndrome, respiratory tract infections, back pain.
