Esomeprazole
Indications
Esomeprazole is primarily indicated in conditions like Gastric ulcer, gastro esophageal reflux disease, NSAID associated ulceration, zollinger ellison syndrome, and can also be given in adjucntive therapy as an alternative drug of choice pernicious aneamia and other macrocytic aneamias.
Contraindications
Esomeprazole is contraindicated in condtions like hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side effects
The severe or irreversible side effects are abdominal pain, dry mouth, blurred vision, rashes, pruritus, malaise, arthalgia, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, arhralgia.
Dose 20mg and 40mg
