Indications
Moxifloxacin is primarily indicated in conditions like acute bacterial sinusitis, chronic bronchities, lower respiratory tract infections, oedema, pneumonia, short term treatment of severe congestive heart failure, skin infections, soft tissue infections, upper respiratory tract infections.
Contraindications
Moxifloxacin is contraindicated in conditions like heart failure, bradycardia, liver disease, electrolyte disturbance.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of moxifloxacin are vomiting, drowsiness, nausea, hot flushes, syncope, abdominal pain, dizziness, tachycardia.
