Artemether/ Lumefantrine

Indications
Artemether is primarily indicated in conditions like chloroquine resistant malaria, complicated and severe malaria, uncomplicated malaria.
Lemefantrine is primarily indicated in conditions like malaria caused by plasmodium falciparum.

Contraindications
Artem ds plus tablet is contraindicated in conditions like renal failure, pulmonary edema.

Side effects
The severe and irreversible side effects are loss of appetite, dizziness, weakness, rash, myalgia, palpitation.
