Formulation Ciprofloxacin Indications Ciprofloxacin is primarily indicated in conditions like Acromegaly (short term treatment before pituitary surgery), chronic prostatitis, GI infections, Gonorrhoea, Iron deficiency anaemia prophylaxis or for mild iron deficiency, Surgical prophylaxis, urinary tract infections.
Contraindications Ciprofloxacin is primarily contraindicated in conditions like Epilepsy, Hypersensitivity.
Side Effects
The severe and irreversible side effects of ciprofloxacin are Nausea, headache, urticaria, elevation of liver enzymes, joint symptoms. Available as 250mg 500mg and (200 and 400mg) infusions Alternative brands
