Levetriacetam
Indications
Levetiracetam is primarily indicated in conditions like anxiety, epilepsy, myoclonic seizures, and can also be given in adjuntive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in alzheimer`s disease, autism, iron deficiency anaemia, neuropathic pain, tourette`s syndrome.
Contraindications
Levetiracetam is contraindicated in conditions like breast feeding.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of Levetiracetam are headache, alopecia, anorexia, dizziness, ataxia, weakness, diplopia, tremor, rashes.
Available as 250mg 500mg and 750mg Tablets (500mg/5ml injections)
