Indications
Ezetimibe is primarily indicated in conditions like hypercholesterolaemia, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia.
Contraindications
Ezetimibe is contraindicated in conditions like liver diseases, hypersensitivity to any component of product.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of ezetimibe are Dizziness, headache, Diarrhea, myalgia, cough, mild stomach pain.
