Diclofenac Sodium + Misoprostol
Indications
Diclofenac sodium is primarily indicated in conditions like acute exacerbation of pain and post operative pain, gastro oesophageal reflux disease, rheumatoid arthritis , prevention of postoperative pain, ureteric colic.
Misoprostol is primarily indicated in conditions like benign gastric and duodenal uleration, haemorrhage, peptic ulcer, prophylaxis of NSAID induced gastric and duodenal ulcertion, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in termination of pregnancy.
Contraindications
Cytopan is contraindicated in conditions like asthma, peptic ulcer, hypersensitivity, GI bleeding, renal impairment , hemorrhagic diathesis , pregnancy.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of cytopan are eye irritations, constipation, itching, burning dyspepsia, depression, vision disturbances, hearing disturbances.
