Rosuvastatin
Indications
Rosuvastatin is primarily indicated in conditions like hypercholesterolaemia, hyperlipidaemia, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in hypertriglyceridaemia.
Contraindications
Rosuvastatin is contraindicated in conditions like liver disease, pregnancy, lactation, renal impairment, hypersensitivity to any component of product.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible side effects are Nausea, asthenia, hypersensitivity, pancreatitis, dizziness, headache.
