Moxifloxacin
Indications
Moxifloxacin is primarily indicated in conditions like acute bacterial sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, lower respiratory tract infection, oedema, pneumonia, short term treatment of severe congestive heart failure, skin infections, soft tissue infections and can also be used in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in bacterial conjunctivitis.
Contraindications
Moxifloxacin is contraindicated in conditions like heart failure, bradycardia, liver disease, electrolyte disturbance.
