Indications
Omeprazole is primarily indicated in conditions like Acid reflux disease, Benign gastric and duodenal ulcearation, Benign gastric ulcer associated with H Pylori, Duodenal errosions, maintenance of recurrent duodenal ulcer.
Contraindications
Omeprazole is contraindicated in condition like hypersensitivity to any component of this drug.
Side effects
The severe or irreversible side effects of omeprazole are Flatulence, dry mouth, Nausea, Skin rashes, impotence, dizziness, agitation, Photo sensitivity,
Available as 20mg and 40mg delayed release capsules.
